Allow to configure when initiated messages are sent, either based on specific times or PMS-triggered events.
Currently, messages like pre check-in reminders are sent at fixed times (e.g., 16:00), and there’s no way to trigger messages based on real-time PMS events like a check-in status change. This limits flexibility for different operational needs.
Solution
Time-Based Triggers: Let users set specific times for messages (e.g., send pre check-in at 12:00 instead of 16:00).
Event-Based Triggers: Allow messages to be triggered by PMS events (e.g., check-in status changes).
Per-Message Trigger Configuration: Enable choosing the trigger type (time or event) per message.
This would align messages with operational workflows. It also enables more timely, personalized guest communication and leverages real-time PMS data when available.

Janne Immonen: Thanks for responding! We have this on our roadmap indeed. It will depend a bit on the PMS integration. But we are planning to support this indeed in the near future. I expect within weeks.

This has been released. The time can now be set in the guest journey builder. We have also added the ability to add variations to the templates with specific filters.

We're planning a large update on the guest journey builder and currently working on designs. We had recently added the time to schedule messages but this has been reverted due to some issues with implementation. We hope to improve on the guest journey builder soon.
