Always send the pre-checkin, even if the booking is made on the same day

Clients have a lot of information in the pre-checkin message that is relevant or even mandatory - like opening times or how to get in the hotel - which makes that they don't want the pre-checkin to be skipped if a guest makes a booking on the same day.
Can we make it so that
-for bookings made for in advance, we use the time/day that's set up by the client
-for bookings made after this moment has passed, we send it immediately
